Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

Well, there is a huge variation in petrol and diesel prices around the city and county. Please feel free to email photos of your local petrol station to petrol@jimmynorman.ie and I will display them here.

Tuesday, April 28th, 2009

Former Galway United manager Jeff Kenna returns to Terryland park for the first time since becoming St. Pats’ manager and we would like to welcome him home in style!! I am looking for the best chant that we can use for the game on Friday night. It must contain “Jeff Kenna”. Email me with your attempts and on the breakfast show on Friday morning I will pick a winner. jimmy@jimmynorman.ie.

Election posters

Monday, April 27th, 2009

Elections and posters go hand in hand. However, does the smiling face of a politician stuck up an electricity pole enhance their standing or encourage you to vote for them? There are strict laws governing when election posters can be put up, it’s not for a while yet, but that didn’t make any difference to one candidate last weekend.

So do you agree with the poster ban in Galway? Let me know what you think by taking part in the poll.

Should election posters be banned?
