Petrol station signs

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

As we have already mentioned, petrol and diesel is significantly more expensive in Galway that the rest of the country, to demonstrate this I am displaying filling station signs from around the county. I would ask you to take a photo of petrol station signs from outside Galway and email them to petrol@jimmynorman.ie stating where the station is and I will put it up on the blog so we can all see the difference.

Clr Welby

Cllr Welby

Petrol prices have featured rather heavily on the show lately, as it would appear that prices in Galway city and county are much more expensive than in the rest of the country. Cllr Tomas Welby who himself owns a filling station appeared on the Keith Finnegan show recently in an attempt to defend the prices in Galway.
